My current research focuses on developing organic and bioinorganic agents for brain imaging and diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.

Primary research goal is to develop clinically applicable agents for the early diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic agents.

[08.2025] Awarded the Postdoctoral Fellowship from the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF)! Over the next year, during my postdoctoral research at Mirica Group, I will be developing bioinorganic chemical tools for the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.

[07.2025] Participated in the 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting Chemistry, engaging with Nobel Laureates and global young scientists.

[04.2025] 🏅Honored to receive the KCS-ACS PhD/Postdoc Academic Award in organic chemistry for research excellence! As part of this achievement, I delivered an oral presentation at the 2025 ACS Fall Meeting in Washington, D.C.

[03.2025] My 30th peer-reviewed paper 'Engineering a Green Fluorescent Protein-Core-Inspired NIR-Photocage: Exploring meso-GFP-PRPG toward Alzheimer's Disease Therapeutics' has been published!

[01.2025] Joined the Mirica Group at UIUC as a Postdoctoral Research Associate!

[08.2024] 🎓Graduated with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Korea University!
